Osaka Fuji Industry is engaged in the construction of various rolls for the paper industry. Here, we introduce a case of "thermal spraying on winding drums." The shapes include φ600×4000L and various others, with requirements for slip prevention and grip performance. These are used under conditions for product winding. Thermal spraying was performed with WC-based cermet at specifications of 50μm or more and Ry30–50μm, and it has been in use since February 2011.
